  • Primary Care Workers

    Casa de los Niños’ shelter programs are based upon a primary care model which requires working in small groups with low staff/child ratios to provide a substitute family life experience for the children who live here.  The Primary Care Worker ensures the safety, developmental, and nutritional needs of Casa’s children. Primary Care workers must possess the ability to work with children from age’s infant – up to 18 years old.  One full time opening 6am - 2pm shift and on call openings all shifts.  $9.00/hr.  Click on the Position to see a detailed Job Description.

  • Family Visitation Services Facilitator
    The visit facilitator will provide supervision facilitation and parenting skills training with non-custodial parents or family members and their children currently in the custody of Child Protective Services according to the specifications provided by the CPS Case Manager.  Provide written documentation after each visit directly into the CHILDS system and maintain a confidential case file including written referrals, visitation agreements and other documentation.  May be required to transport clients.  Click on the Position to see a detailed Job Description.

  • Healthy Families Support Specialist
    The Healthy Families Support Specialist is responsible for providing home-based intervention services, referral and coordination of activities for overburdened families of newborns participating in the Healthy Families Program.  The position requires an Associate’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related behavioral health field, plus two years of related experience; or a high school diploma plus five years of related experience.  Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license and meet coverage qualifications of the Casa de los Niños automobile insurance provider.  Click on the Position to see a detailed Job Description.

     
  • Preschool Guidance Specialist
    The children who come to Casa de los Ninos have experienced many different traumatic circumstances; the Preschool Guidance Specialist helps to enhance children's natural resiliency; and develops and supervises the 2-5 year old program.  This includes providing developmentally appropriate curriculum with a focus on assessment and intervention in the developmental and emotional progress of children in the 2-5 year old age range and the direct supervision of the Primary Care Workers in this department including their ongoing training and development.   Must have a clean driving record and qualify for automobile insurance coverage through the agency automobile liability insurance.   Click on the Position to see a detailed Job Description.


    Beginning July 1, 2008 Casa de los Niños will offer Court ordered supervised visitation services.  The program has immediate openings for:

    CASE MANAGERS…implements client case services – 3 full-time positions

    THERAPIST…provides therapeutic visit supervision; must be a licensed behavioral health professional in Arizona and bi-lingual (Spanish/English). 

    VISITATION MONITORS…facilitates exchanges and visits between child clients and their non-custodial parent – 10 part-time positions

    ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT…provides clerical and administrative program services – full-time.
