Community education & outreach
Parent education classes at Casa de los Niños are FREE and available to anyone looking for support and resources to be a great parent. Our classes help parents, foster parents and anyone who wants to strengthen their families. We teach useful tips and ways to handle all sorts of situations from raising toddlers to tough talks with teens.

All parent education classes are currently being offered virtually via Zoom.

What you need:
- A phone, tablet or computer.
- The Zoom app (download it for free from your phone’s app store or zoom.us/download on a computer).
- A special link or a Meeting ID and passcode from the person hosting the meeting.
Steps:
- Click the link: Find the Zoom link (it usually starts with https://) that someone sent you. Click on it!
- If you don’t have a link: Open the Zoom app, click “Join a Meeting,” and type in the Meeting ID and passcode they gave you.
- Open Zoom: If your device asks, say “Yes” or “Open” to use the Zoom app.
- Enter your name: Type your name when it asks.
- Check sound: Choose to “Join with computer audio” or “Call using internet audio” so you can hear and be heard.
That’s it! You’re in!
