Volunteer opportunities now available

We believe your involvement can make a significant impact on the children we serve.

A day at the Kelly Early Education Center

Lessons are hands-on and engaging. Recently, our students gardened, planted seeds, learned about the lifecycle of a plant and even hatched real-live butterflies from caterpillars. Some of our classes were taken out into space as we explored other planets in our solar system.

Meet our teachers

Thank you, Stone Canyon Community Foundation and Tucson Electric Power, for supporting the Kelly Early Education Center.

I am thrilled to be the director at the Kelly Early Education Center. I can’t wait to meet you and your family and build lasting memories together.

A little about me: I am originally from Maryland and moved to Arizona to go to college. I graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Human Development. I was also a baton twirler in the marching band and would visit Casa de los Niños to perform and volunteer with the children. After college, I moved to Colorado and I recently moved back to Tucson to enjoy the amazing weather and community.

I have an extensive background in early childhood as a teacher, manager, director and  supervisor. I have been in the early childhood field for over 25 years. Most recently, I was a deputy director for child care licensing in Colorado. I believe my education and experience will be valuable in this new position.

I have one daughter who attends Northern Arizona University. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and taking in all that Arizona has to offer. I hope to make a difference in you and your child’s life and to provide quality child care where your child can develop to their full potential in a safe and healthy environment.

Brenda Beadling, BS
Center Director

It is a privilege working with your children on a day-to-day basis. I have worked as an administrative assistant in early childhood education for over 3 years, and I absolutely love it.

In my role, I help keep all the important information up to date and assist in classrooms whenever needed. It is fulfilling to contribute to your children’s learning journey.

In my spare time, I enjoy family time with my three beautiful children. Sharing moments with them brings me immense joy and helps me appreciate the importance of family in our lives.

I can’t wait to have the opportunity to serve your family at the Kelly Center and welcome you into this wonderful community.

Yolanda Ramos

I am excited to introduce myself as your infant teacher! With over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages, I have found my true calling in nurturing and educating our youngest learners.

I am passionate about creating a loving and supportive environment where each child can thrive and reach their full potential. Outside of the classroom, I cherish spending quality time with my family, and we love to go on vacations together, as family bonding is incredibly important to me.

I am looking forward to the joy of teaching your little ones and watching them grow!

Adriana Contreras

I am originally from Detroit, Michigan. I am a wife and mother of two children. I have been involved in early childhood education since the age of 15. I have been employed at Kelly Education Center since late 2023.

Erin Etoke

I’ve worked with children and adolescents for 15 years and I have always found it fulfilling. I have eight grandchildren, and they are my life. I’ve lived in Arizona for 22 years and lived in California for 15 years prior to moving here. I love my profession and on my days off I enjoy spending time with my family.

Rosa Garcia

I am excited to be a part of Casa de los Niños childcare. I have the pleasure of working with the toddlers and I’m looking forward to teaching and working with them. I have 19 years of experience in working with children, from newborn through school-age. I love being a part of their growth and development and seeing their excitement in learning and discovery. On my off time, I enjoy traveling with my kids and husband and creating memories with them. I also enjoy making cakes and creating delicious pastries for people.

Clarise Rojas

I work in all of the classrooms with all age groups! I am so excited to work for Casa de los Niños. I have worked with children ages 0-12 years for over 20 years! Working with children has reminded me how amazing and exciting the world can be. Children encourage me to use my imagination and find new creative ways to do things. It’s such a privilege to play a role in children’s lives during their vital first five years.

I am a mother to a 16 year old son named Darius. In my spare time I love to shop and read suspense novels!

Chonice Sauls

I started out at Casa de los Niños seven years ago in the Supervised Visitation Program. Unfortunately, the program closed approximately four months ago. The program gave me a realization of how much I loved working with children, so I moved over to Kelly to work in the infant room.

I have one child, two grandkids and two great-grandkids aged five and six months. My time outside of work includes spending as much time with them as possible, my two other babies (dogs), and relaxing watching television.

Penny Schmitt

I am an early childhood education professional with experience since 2018, working with children from infancy through five years of age. I am currently part of the team in the infants room, where I am committed to providing a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

As a wife and mother to a nine-year-old, I bring patience, empathy and a family centered approach to my work.

Franya Trujillo

I have been working in the early education field for the past 10 years. I really enjoy spending time with my students, teaching them and growing with them as each day goes by. In my spare time, I keep busy by spending time with my beautiful family. I am looking forward to learning and growing as an educator to keep serving these students for many years to come.
